Val graciously sat down with me in person after our first interview got lost due to a technological snafu. We talk about how her father's career in rock and roll got her hooked on wrestling and roller derby at a young age. We talk about her overcoming a serious car accident led to her taking more chances in life and following her dreams. And we talk about how following those dreams has led to careers in both Roller Derby and Wrestling.
